About the position: Remote Sensing Research Engineers will be involved in leading edge research and development of remote sensing (image and/or signal processing) algorithms for various applications, including algorithm design, implementation and testing. Solid communication skills are required as it may be necessary to author technical reports and present the technology to clients.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of remote sensing techniques and concepts
- Experience with GMTI detection and clutter suppression techniques, including Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA), Joint-Domain Localized (JDL) procedure and ΣΔ-STAP algorithm
- Working experience with SAR, InSAR and Pol-InSAR image processing
- Programming experience using MATLAB, C/C++ (C#, ENVI/IDL would also be beneficial)
- Proven technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Master’s degree and above
